Is an heir's acknowledgment valid when they cease to be the owner through that acknowledgment, analogous to a case involving property?

Primary text
The validity of the acknowledgment is maintained even if the acknowledging party ceases to be an owner by means of that acknowledgment. This is analogous to a situation where a person in possession of a slave adjudged to be their property acknowledges the ownership of another; the right of the acknowledged person is established, even though the acknowledger is no longer the owner.
