What is the implication if the statement means, 'He willed a thousand to him from its price'?

Primary text
If the respondent interprets the statement as a bequest (wasiyya) of one thousand from the slave's price, and one thousand was indeed disbursed from the price, this is established. However, if the respondent wishes to pay one thousand from their own wealth, separate from the slave's price, the legatee (mawsa lahu) is not obliged to accept it, because the right of the legatee is specifically tied to the price of the slave.
