The legal consequence of a father acknowledging a son when other sons are already established.

Primary text
If a father acknowledges a son (*ibn*), the lineage of that son is established. If the father subsequently acknowledges a third son, that third son's lineage is also established because the acknowledgment comes from all the heirs (the previously acknowledged sons are now heirs).
Supporting text
If the third son denies the lineage of the second son, one view states that the lineage of the second son is nullified because the third son is an heir who is denying the lineage of the second, similar to a situation where the second son's lineage was established before the third son was acknowledged.
