What is the legal obligation when a debtor states, 'Katha Dirhaman' (such and such dirhams, accusative)?

If the debtor states, 'Katha dirhaman' (accusative), he is obligated to pay twenty dirhams, as this is the minimum number interpreted by a single accusative noun. This view is attributed to Muhammad bin Al-Hasan.
