What is the ruling when a debtor acknowledges obligations of mixed amounts, such as 'He has upon me a dirham and two dirhams' (له علي درهم ودرهمان)?

Three dirhams are incumbent upon the debtor. Similarly, if the acknowledgment involves different units, such as 'He has upon me a dirham and a dinar,' or 'a dirham or a dinar,' or 'a qafiz of wheat,' or similar statements, the entirety of what is acknowledged is due.
