Primary text
If an heir acknowledges a brother of the deceased, whether the acknowledged person is a full brother, a brother only by the father, or a brother only by the mother, the acknowledged person receives nothing from the portion held by the acknowledging heir. This is because the inheritance share of the acknowledged person is in the possession of an heir who has not made the acknowledgment.
