Primary text

The ruling is the same as the preceding case, regardless of the order of the statements (i.e., whether the admission of usurpation or ownership is stated first) or whether the statements are connected or separate. This position is mentioned by Al-Qadi.

Supporting text

It is held by some that the declarant must deliver the property to 'Amr, and simultaneously compensate Zayd. This is considered a strong opinion because the initial admission of ownership to 'Amr invalidates the subsequent admission of possession taken from Zayd.
