The more sound opinion maintains that the lineage established by the initial declaration remains valid and cannot be retracted. This is because lineage established via declaration is treated like the lineage of a minor or an insane person, which cannot be revoked by denial. Lineage is distinguished from financial matters because there is a stronger precaution taken for its establishment in Sharia.
