What is the ruling if the two alleged brothers are twins and they deny each other?
General Chapter
Al-Mughni
Book of Acknowledgment of Rights
Primary text
If the two are twins, their lineage is established, and the denial made by either one of them is disregarded, whether they mutually denied each other or one denied the other. This is because it is known that their denial is false, as they cannot be separated in lineage.
Supporting text
If an heir acknowledges the lineage of one twin, the lineage of the other twin is also established due to the impossibility of them being separated in lineage.
