Does a specific denomination only explain the preceding number if it immediately follows it?

Primary text
The specific denomination is considered an explanation for all preceding ambiguous numerical phrases and the category of the count, not merely the immediately preceding figure. This is evidenced by instances such as stating 'One thousand and three dirhams,' 'Fifty dirhams and one thousand dirhams,' 'One thousand and one hundred dirhams,' or 'One hundred and one thousand dirhams,' where the concluding denomination clarifies the entire sum mentioned.
