Does the subsequent confirmation by a legally competent person, after the death of the initial acknowledger, establish lineage?

Primary text
If the lineage of a legally competent person was claimed during his life, and he did not confirm it until the acknowledging party died, but he confirmed it afterward, the lineage is established. This is because both the acknowledgment and the confirmation occurred from the acknowledged person, making it akin to confirmation during the life of the acknowledging party.
