Agency is permissible in assignment of debt (*Huwalah*), mortgaging (*Rahn*), surety (*Dhaman*), guarantee (*Kafalah*), partnership (*Sharika*), safekeeping (*Wadi'ah*), profit-sharing in capital (*Mudarabah*), contract of employment for a specific task (*Ja'alah*), sharecropping (*Musaqah*), leasing (*Ijarah*), lending (*Qard*), settlement (*Sulh*), bequest (*Wasiyyah*), gift (*Hiba*), endowment (*Waqf*), charity (*Sadaqah*), termination of contract (*Faskh*), and release from obligation (*Ibra'*). This is because these matters share the same need for agency as sales, and thus the ruling applies. There is no known dispute concerning any of these matters.
