Must an agent provide proof of agency when the opponent denies the agency, if the judge is restricted from ruling based on personal knowledge?

If the judge adheres to the principle that ruling based on personal knowledge is impermissible, then the agent's claim is not heard unless supporting evidence (Bayyinah) is presented establishing the agency.
