If the debtor confirms that the claimant is the heir of the creditor and that the creditor has no other heir, the debtor must make the payment to the claimant without dispute. This obligation exists because the debtor is admitting the right belongs to that individual, and this payment will discharge the debt, similar to paying the original creditor.
