Delegation is permissible for the collection and distribution of financial obligations like Zakat, Sadaqat (charities), vowed financial payments (Mundhurat), and expiations (Kaffarat). It is also permissible for the payer to delegate someone to disburse these amounts to their rightful recipients. One may instruct another person saying, 'Pay my Zakat from your wealth.' This is supported by the practice of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sending agents to collect and distribute Sadaqat. He instructed Mu'adh upon sending him to Yemen to inform them of the obligatory charity to be taken from the wealthy and returned to the poor, warning him against taking the best of their wealth and to fear the prayer of the oppressed.
