Primary text

The agent is permitted to sell the remaining half because the original agency authorized the sale of the entire slave, making the sale of the remaining portion permissible, analogous to selling the entire slave for its equivalent value.

Supporting text

There is an alternative view suggesting that selling the remaining half is not permissible because the principal's primary objective regarding the price has already been achieved by selling half for the full amount. Consequently, selling the remainder might not be necessary or intended due to the proceeds already secured from the first half.
