If the principal specifies a particular buyer, can the agent sell to someone else?

Primary text
If the principal designates a specific buyer, the agent is prohibited from selling to any other person without exception. This ruling holds true whether or not a specific price was stipulated, because the principal may have had a specific intent in transferring ownership to that particular individual. The only exception is if it is known to the agent, either through clear indication or explicit statement, that the principal has no specific interest in the identity of the buyer.
