Does the revocation of agency (Azl) stand if only one of the initial witnesses testifies to it?
General Chapter
Al-Mughni
Book of Agency
Primary text
If the witnesses established the agency, and then one of them testifies that the agent has been dismissed (Azl), the dismissal is not established by that single testimony because the agency itself was not established solely by that witness.
Supporting text
If a male witness other than the original two testifies to the dismissal, the dismissal is not established by his testimony alone, because the revocation of agency requires proof equivalent to the proof establishing the original agency.
