What is the legal ruling if a person accepts Islam under compulsion and then reverts to their former religion?

If a person who was compelled to accept Islam reverts to their former religion of disbelief, they must not be killed, nor should they be compelled again toward Islam. This is consistent with the primary view stating that the initial compelled acceptance does not establish their Islamic status.
