Is the repentance of a sorcerer valid concerning worldly penalties?

Both narrations regarding the request for repentance concern establishing the ruling of repentance in this world, specifically regarding the cancellation of worldly penalties such as execution. If a sorcerer repents, repentance is established concerning the matter between him and Allah, and the punishment of the Hereafter is lifted from him. Allah has not closed the door of repentance for any of His creation, and the repentance of one who sincerely turns to Allah is accepted; this point is without known dispute.
