Chapter on Guarantee (Daman)

Book of Assignment (Transfer of Debt)
Primary text
If a guarantor settles a deferred debt before its specified maturity date, the guarantor cannot seek recourse until that original due date arrives. This is because the guarantor is not entitled to recover more than what the original creditor was entitled to, which was only due at the specified time.
