If the assignment is voided, the original assignor (the buyer) reverts to claiming the debt from the assignee. No further dealings remain between the buyer, the assignee, and the original seller.
Supporting text
If the assignment is not voided, the buyer reverts to claiming the price from the original seller, and the seller collects that amount from the assignee.
