What is the ruling on a second assignment made by the original seller to the party originally assigned to pay (the buyer's assignee) after the initial sale is rescinded?

If the original seller subsequently assigns the buyer regarding the price onto the party whom the buyer had assigned the payment to, this second assignment is valid. The original seller is absolved, and the buyer reverts to owing the debt to his original creditor (the assignee).
