Is a bequest of a ring to one person and its setting (fas) to another valid?

The bequest is valid. Neither beneficiary may utilize the ring or its setting without the permission of the other owner. If either party requests the setting be removed from the ring, that request must be granted, and the other party must be compelled to comply.
