How are bequests calculated when one set of calculations overlaps another?

If the two scenarios (approval and rejection calculations) are consistent, the lesser of the two figures is multiplied by the other. For the person with a share in one scenario, that share is multiplied by the lesser figure from the other scenario. If one scenario is contained within the other, the greater figure suffices.
