If one son consents to the bequest for only one of the three stipulated beneficiaries, that beneficiary receives one-third of the surplus portion held by the consenting son. This surplus is calculated as one part out of eighteen. Multiplying this by three yields fifty-four as the corrected denominator for the final distribution.
