What is the distribution if a testator bequeathed a dog to one person and one-third of his wealth to another?

Primary text
The legatee of the dog receives one-third of the dog, and the legatee of the wealth receives one-third of the wealth, universally. This is because the right of the heir to two-thirds of the wealth has been secured, and the bequest concerning the dog is satisfied from the allowable third share, so the dog's value is not counted against the heirs regarding the general wealth distribution.
