Primary text

If the deceased donee leaves a wife and a daughter, the calculation starts with eight shares for the inheritance division. Multiplying this by three results in twenty-four. Three shares, representing what the giver inherits, are subtracted, leaving twenty-one shares as the total estate value for distribution. The giver is entitled to one-third of the original twenty-four shares, which is eight shares. Subtracting the three shares the giver inherits results in five shares remaining for the deceased donee's heirs. The remainder belongs to the giver. The one hundred units are divided according to these calculated shares.
