Primary text
A bequest, even when validly made to a non-heir or an unrelated person, is restricted such that it cannot exceed one-third of the estate unless the legal heirs grant permission. If the bequest exceeds one-third, its execution is suspended pending the explicit approval of the heirs, just as in the case of a bequest made by a Muslim to another Muslim.
