Primary text

If a sick person purchases an expensive female slave for enjoyment at the price equal to her market value, or purchases types of food that are not typically consumed by the buyer in their state, the purchase is valid. This expenditure is deemed to be for the person's need and thus takes precedence over the rights of heirs if the person dies while indebted.
