The legatee is entitled to one of the permissible dogs, determined either by drawing lots or by the choice of the heirs, according to a secondary narration.
Supporting text
If the testator had a permissible dog and a dog used for harassing livestock ('Kalb al-Harash'), the legatee receives the permissible dog.
