What is the ruling concerning the remnants of a collapsed house bequeathed?
General Chapter

Book of Bequests
Primary text
If a house collapses but its name or designation technically remains, the entirety of the connected structure is transferred to the legatee, but anything that separated from it is not transferred. This distinction is made because, at the time the right to the bequest is established, the title applies to what remains connected, not what has become detached.
