When the deceased leaves only a grandmother and a bequest equal to her share, the logical consequence of our position is that the estate is divided equally between them, half for each. The logical consequence of the view that rejects *Radd* is that the estate is calculated in seven parts, with each person receiving one-seventh, and the remainder going to the public treasury.

The logical consequence of Malik's view is that the legatee receives one-sixth, the grandmother receives one-sixth of what remains, and the rest is allocated to the public treasury.
