Primary text

If the donor consummates the slave, he owes a dower amount equivalent to the extent to which the gift was executed, which is one-third of one part. Thirty units minus one part remains, equating to two parts. Therefore, one part is nine units, which is one-fifth of the slave, and one-tenth and seven-tenths of that amount belongs to the donor's heirs. They are also due the dower for the portion where the gift was executed. If he takes from the slave equivalent to that dower amount, then two-fifths of her becomes his.
