Primary text

If the man possessed assets equal to her full value, two-thirds of the slave woman is manumitted, and one-third remains enslaved, and the marriage is void. If consummation occurred, four-sevenths of her is manumitted, and she is entitled to four-sevenths of her dowry. The heirs retain three-sevenths of her value and five-sevenths of her monetary value, which balances the portion manumitted.
