Primary text

If the aggressor commits an act other than biting, or commits an act that leads to incidental injury to the aggressor, there is no liability for the resulting harm to the aggressor. This is illustrated by the case where a boy put a pinecone between a man's thighs and blew into it, causing the man to panic, kick out, and break the boy's teeth; the judge ruled, "I do not recognize the barking dog's liability."
