What additional stipulations must be included in the oath concerning the act of killing?

It is required to state explicitly: 'So-and-so son of so-and-so killed the victim, pointing to him, saying: this is my son or my brother, acting alone in the killing, and no one shared him in it.' If two people are involved, they must state they acted jointly ('manfarrayn') and no one else shared them. Following this, the oath-taker must specify whether the act was intentional ('amdan') or accidental ('khata'an'). Any of Allah's names or attributes related to His essence can be used for the oath, provided the designation clearly refers to Allah.
