Primary text

If a man coerces another individual to kill a person, and the matter settles upon the payment of diyah, both the coercer and the coerced party share the liability because they are treated as partners in the act. Consequently, this shared liability would warrant retaliation (Qisas) if the underlying act made Qisas applicable.
