Is the blood money of a Magian aggravated if a Muslim kills him intentionally?

If a Magian is killed intentionally, the blood money is aggravated upon the Muslim killer because retaliation (qawad) is averted. Imam Ahmad explicitly stated this, establishing an analogy with the People of the Book.
