If medical expertise suggests that visual capacity decreases relative to distance—stating that doubling the distance requires double the visual power—and this can be applied in testing, it serves as a basis for judgment. However, since such precise quantification is generally difficult to maintain reliably, all unquantifiable injuries resulting in diminished sight are resolved through judicial assessment (hukuma).
