When is the compensation due if the liable amount is less than one-third of the full Diya?

If the required payment is less than one-third of the Diya, such as the Diya for a single finger, the 'Aqilah is not responsible for paying it. The amount becomes immediately due because it is compensation for destroyed property that the 'Aqilah is not obligated to cover, similar to damages in financial matters.
