What is the compensation if a piece of the penis, excluding the glans (Hashafa), is cut, and urination remains normal?
Chapter on Diyat (Blood Money) for Wounds
Al-Mughni
Book of Blood-Money (Diyyāt)
Primary text
The compensation due is proportionate to the piece cut from the total Diyah of the entire penis.
Supporting text
If urine exits from the site of the cut, the compensation is the greater of either the fractional share of the Diyah or a 'hukuma'. If a hole is made below the glans causing urine to exit there, a 'hukuma' is due for that.
