Do Dhimmi kin of different faiths (Jewish and Christian) assume liability for blood-money for one another?
General Chapter

Book of Blood-Money (Diyyāt)
Primary text
It is possible that the Dhimmi kin may assume liability for the blood-fine if it is established that they inherit from one another, as they belong to the same religion and inherit amongst themselves. However, a Jew does not assume liability for a Christian, nor a Christian for a Jew, because the bond of allegiance is absent between them, and they belong to two distinct religious communities.
