Is expiation required for killing someone upon whom the call (Da'wah) has not yet reached?

Expiation is not required for killing someone upon whom the call to Islam has not reached. This ruling is based on the fact that they are treated similarly to those whose killing is permissible, and therefore, no guarantee or liability (Daman) is incurred for them.
