If a woman miscarries a dead fetus, then another is delivered alive, the dead fetus requires a *Ghurra*, and the first living fetus is due a full *diyah*, provided the miscarriage occurred at a stage where such a fetus could live. The second fetus inherits from the first, and then the second fetus's heirs inherit from it if it dies.
