To whom does the manumission bond (wala') of children belong when a freed slave marries a freed female slave?

When a freed male slave (abd mu'taq) marries a freed female slave (mu'taqah), the wala' (manumission bond/inheritance right) of their children belongs to the patron (mawla) of the mother.
