What is the required compensation (diyah) for an unbeliever who was killed and had a pact?

If the deceased unbeliever had a pact, the *diyah* is that of the people of his religion. If his religion is unknown, the *diyah* of the Magian (Zoroastrian) is due because it represents certainty, and anything more is based on doubt.
