One narration states that a full Diyah is due, held by Sa'id ibn al-Musaib, Al-Shafi'i, and Ibn al-Mundhir, based on the Hadith and the fact that the function of intercourse remains in the penis.

The second narration states no Diyah is due, held by Malik, Al-Thawri, the Companions of Al-Ra'y, Qatadah, and Ishaq. This is because the main objective, procreation, is absent, and the capacity for intercourse is generally lost, unlike the anin.
