Primary text
There are two opinions regarding a wound inflicted upon the head that extends to the face. One view holds that it constitutes a single *muwaddahah* because the face and the head are treated as a single entity concerning this specific injury, effectively making it one limb. The second view states that it constitutes two *muwaddahah* injuries because the wound spans two distinct limbs, each retaining its own legal ruling, similar to a case where the injury extends from the head to the neck.
