What is the ruling if a loosened tooth does not return to its original state after the expected period?

If the waiting period passes and the tooth does not return to its prior stable condition, compensation is determined by judicial appraisal (*hukuma*). If an assailant completely knocks out such a tooth, he owes the full *diyya*.
